at your nearest library.. or better yet, buy it.
Cause this one's a keeper.

Reading about Amber Appleton just brought me up to a whole new point of 'high', if you may put it that way. I wouldn't know.
Every single sentence in this book so far is filled with so much hope in it, just like Amber. She refuses to sweat the bad stuff and has so much hope in herself.
Sure, she's made up.
But there's gotta be someone out there who went through what she did, so be thankful it wasn't you.
I may be slightly more than halfway through this book but it's worth every minute you put into it.
I totally recommend it. Word.

Yeah, Amber's kinda stuck to me a little... you'll understand if you read the book. ;)

I've been reading Ellen Hopkins a lot lately,
her books are amazing.
Dare i say BEST POET?
i just might, she writes poetry in all her books.
Recommended... definitely.
Go get her books from the library,
it worth reading all 700 pages of any of her books

but i figure most people are too lazy to read anything good anyway.
they just bury their heads in bad writing and editing. (a certain vampire series)
Paper and hard covered books that hold words worth reading are wasted on these people.

Friday went out with Jing Er, Firah and Erra.
That was one awesome day at town.

We are back from johor!
Well, i gotta admit, it was a fun trip... better than i thought it would be.
But i still wish it would've been longer...

We got our class shirts! And thank god i managed to get the 's' i wanted...
'M' was already crazy huge on me i don't know how i would've survived if i had to go on with an 'L'.

Everyone had their camera's ready and i guess i should've remembered to bring mine too never mind. I'll grab the pics anyway =]
We did tons of stuff there..chocolate tasting, batik painting, eating........ ha ha. well i can't remember alot of it. only the enjoyable stuff.
like the chocolates!
It was kinda weird and amazing at the same time... the chocolates.

they had stuff like tomato chocolate...... IKR!

tomato + chocolate... doesn't seam like they'll mix well.
but it was okay.

i loved the batik painting! They actually made one for each of us to paint with our names on it.. =]

How the hell did you survive there with skills like this?

Station yourselves within the group... you were supposed to make sure everyone was there at all times but you kept asking us [no training or planing done, obviously].

The drama trainings are over for the holidays.
I gotta say, i've never hated those freaks so much before.
They hit an all time low i swear i'd scream.
But for all the awesome people who did turn up,

Got up early and everything, and like we do usually
i made breakfsat with mom and Azra.
It was better this year XP

Then we all dressed up and headed to granny's place.
Everyone always goes there for hari raya!
guess what i ended up doing?
I was going through mio with my uncle
And we found GLEE!!!
sure they said you gotta pay like $50 to watch the whole thing but since my aunt gets it all for free.
we sat there and watched all the episodes we could.
I sat there for 6 hours straight......
that's 7 and a half episodes, before i had to stop.

Too bad it's not on tv yet....

Okay i'm back from the childrens camp...
gosh that was a bad weekend.
I've never been that tired after camp before.
I slept 14 hours last night!
that's a new record! BOOYAH! or not XD
i guess it's cause i was a facil this time.
Gosh it's hard to take care of 9 kids!
There was a horrible kid in my group that I hated.
Hated more than anyone else.
Brydon and Shawn hated that little shitbox too.
For a 12-year old, he's pretty stupid.
And he's got no common sense.
He's never listened and he's way to hyper.
Even the 6 year olds knew more than that idiot!
I'm glad it was only a 2 day thing, any more and i wouldn't hit him already.
i couldn't hold it in at breakfast though, so i had to tell him he was torture to everyone.

Project Work day today....big whoppie, huh?

If there was ever a reason to kill someone with post-its.. today would be the reason.

i generally hate Project Work day.

All the standing and talking, watching people sit.

But i saw the trailer for "paranormal activity"...and i could breathe for about 15 seconds after.
it seriously scared me to shit.
the second thing that ever freaked me out.

it's only showing in the U.S so i can't see it in the theathers.

it's cool how this isn't actually a movie...just like a home video thing.

Yesterday i went to see IMPAK MAKSIMA!
started out at 3, went to lexxii's place for prep up with Mars and Teesh.
Teesh was our hairstylist cum make-up artist for the day.
she does some pretty chic work, maybe she's make it big doing that one day!
you never know.. =D
i put on the awesome white dress i got from Far East and borrow Mars' black jacket.
Which i think did good with my raya shoes since they were black and white.
oh yeah...black and white...
i bet someone's making a joke about this somewhere... o.O
Everyone looked awesome, especially Teesh.
She could've pulled off for some paparazzi lady.
since she had the look and the camera.

We finally left lexxii's place at like 4.45-ish. and made our way to northpoint to go makan
and so Teesh could get contacts.
Mars and Lexxii went to 18 Chefs first to get us a table while i went to get the contacts with Teesh.
I have to say, while Teesh and i were going up the stairs, these dudes went like.
"And the girls just keep bouncing!" or something like that...i dunno.
ask mars, she heard the douchebags say it.

Yesterday, was the first day someone asked for my ID to confirm that i qualify for a student meal!
gosh....how old did i look??
We had dinner, i didn't finish my food.
i couldn't even force it down - that's to my 2Pm lunch.
Then we found out this waiter at 18 chefs is from Nbss....awesome huh?
thanks to Teesh...it's like she knows everything.

Eventually we made it to city Hall
The trian ride was suckish...so suckish.
Teesh almost looked like she was a stalker just taing pics of random people.
when we got there, Harris and Wera were waiting...since 5.45 i guess.
which was sad since we got there at 6.30.
so we went on ahead.
through the walk to the esplanade, i think lexxii's feet gave out.
so she looked kinda paranormal when she walked.
like E.T. only with her legs further apart.
XD

I was kinda paranoid that Jariah might not approve of my outfit...
but she did XD

fast forward a little,
the show is like starting, and my feet hurt.
so i grabbed Richo's sneakers off his feet -sorry hunny- and put them on.
i swear those she seriously shiny sneakers!
and well...what happened next was weird.
he put on my heels.
and amazingly, they fit him. OH GOD.
there were laughs...and then we switched back!

Impak Maksima, was awesome.
not doubt, i couldn't be happier watching anything else!
the cars were cool.
the actors, were cooler!
DK was kinda hott, from far.
up close i spotted some moles and a zit.
Natural...but ew-ish
and i guess there was this part of the musical that was dead on funny, but not meant to happen.
The fat chick ran out on stage, and kinda crashed into the table and feel back!
damn, that was funny!
but she did look real hurt.

So once it was over, I went shopping!
With all my awesome friends, of course. I wouldn't shop well without them anyways.
We met at Ion, which kinda makes me feel out of place since i'd never be able to afford anything there.
Gosh...cheap-much?
Firah dropped out last minute.
Then Teesh and Lexxii told mars they dropped too, but they actually went over to ion first and met us there later.
Mars's reaction? Priceless! XD

I have to say, Ion is one sick place, everything i could ever want and much much more.
Too bad i'm not extremely rich.....bummer.

We went over to Far East Plaza.
Teesha got a blazier that she'd use on Sunday, i gotta say it's real pretty and cheap.
that's how you can score at Far East...and not Ion.
I actually found the most perfect dress ever!
Well technically, Mars and Teesh found it for me. But it was fabulous!
it was pretty and fit me so well...but then something happened that just bummed it out.
But i still ended up getting it in white. =]
But i think i kinda regret not getting the blue one.
i think it looks nicer than the white.
but majority wins, so i got the white.

So i went for my second surgery yesterday =[

Gosh it hurt so bad...

i felt like everything cause this time the

anesthetic just wore off on me half way through.

that's what you'd call AWESOME!

my life is just never perfect.

and the fact that i'm fasting and couldn't take my painkillers

is just donkey butts and butterflies!

[yes, i hate butterflies]

I felt the whole bloody thing again today

and everytime i had to walk.

i never realized i needed the painkillers so much!

So i guess ramadhan really does make me see new stuff.

Day 1, 29.06.2009, Monday

Woke up bright and early at 6! well technically that's an extra half hour of sleep than usual. :P So i got ready and made sure everything was packed right. had to stuff my feet into inpossibly painful court shoes too. GOSH! Mom sent me to the hotel and i guess i did get there a tad bit late.....at 8:03 am. XP.

I had to leave my bags by the reception and join everyone else in the...um...well there was a room where we had breakfast. I sat with the other Singaporean ambassadors while we waited for god knows what to happen. And within that time we actually managed to bond really fast!
BLAH

Once that was over we had to go for some opening ceremony thing and sing for ASEAN song thingy.. that was boring too. it only got fun after we had to change into our huge ASEP shirts and jeans. weird how comfortable clothes means we can have fun! We were put into 3 different groups based on random stickers they gave us. i was in 'friendship'. Lame name but awesome group. I'm sure you know why.

Once that was over we got put into other groups...A and B to go see the ASEAN youth games opening! Oh doesn't that sound exciting! Well not as great as it could've been.
We went for dinner first at a coffee shop. The Singaporeans sat together with this dude, NaReach from Cambodia! i swear we made the most noise ever!

The ASEAN opening wasn't as exciting as it could've been, we had to wait an hour before entering the place and there was this milo dude walking around giving away milo badges! There were so little people there and there wasn't much hype. i bet they edited it to look more fun on tv. gosh.

And what awesome thing did we do that night? We talked all night, made jokes, talked about ghost and got yelled at by some cranky white dude! gee.

Day 2, 30.06.2009, Tuesday

Since we didn't sleep the night before. I was so weirdly dreamy the next day. Everything felt like a dream to me. but i managed! We were down for breakfast like an hour early!

Hui Xuan, Adam and Hong Wei!

We went to the Singapore History Museum or something like that. There was no real tour, they gave everyone headphones and this tiny tour machine to guide us. we had to punch in numbers and the machine would start talking....Ooooo. We went through it real fast and waited at the end for like...nothing. Then.....OHHH NOOO!!! Mrs Lek came out with Fatimah who had gastric! gosh. We had to go help find someone like her teacher or something and apparently...we weren't too good at it. then we took some pretty awesome pictures!!!

We went to Suntec later on for lunch and shopping. I took the group from Brunei! And gosh aren't i happy i did! i love them! We went to eat at KFC but before we could finish, Adam called and said everyone needed to assemble back in 10 minutes. GEEZ!

Guess what happened? Some dude was suspected to have H1N1!!! OH NO! On the way back to the hotel Adam was really freaking out like crazy, we turned into some area to take our temperature and he started going
"Holy shit is this Aloha resort! it is isn't it! Don't fucking lie to me! we're gonna die we're gonna die! omg! Alyaa i'm gonna die!"

But it was nothing big. We went back tothe hotel for reflection and got split into 6 groups. I was in group 1 and of course group 1 was the best! =D

Day 3, 01.07.2009, Wednesday

We went to the Discovery Centre, Singapore Flyer and Marina Barrage(sp?) on Day 3. we had one of those tours around the place and apparently it was some big day thing in Singapore that i didn't know about so there were many N.S men there. That was when i learnt that the foreign kids like taking pictures of dudes in uniform!

We went throught the whole area and saw all the usual stuff...nothing un-natural there.

Next we headed to the singapore Flyer - oh goodie! we were put into groups again and this time i went with Boon Lin and the kids from Thailand...gosh why am i calling them kids??i guess it was okay for a while since i was with people i could talk to instead of having to just sit there like a moron. that half hour went by fast then we went over to the marina. We had another tour there and, oh lookie! out of all the things to see there, there were some mats and minahs sitting on the floor smoking. how nice... gosh.
Everyone took picutres except me cause my camera ran out of battery on the flyer...gosh.
We went to the night safari/zoo for dinner. The night Safari was awesome! the local students tried to sit together but it wasn't oo successful. I sat with Eky and boon Lin and someone else that amazingly i don't remember.....gosh...i suck.

Day 4, 02.0.2009, Thursday
We went to Little India to go shopping at Mustafa's that day. I got put with the Brunei people again! =D

Hong Wei came with us too. The shopping wasn't too awesome since it's mustafa..which i frankly don't really like too much.
I met my dad there since he worked near mustafa. Not too much of a Yippie!
We went to the AYG village which was definitely much more fun that Mustafa! There told us some kind of loser info we really didn't need to know but the games were all fun. It was kinda like having balloon scluptures! and free popcorn! Oh YEAH!!!!

It was the most fun i've ever had. You can't find this kind of stuff anywhere else.
Gosh, i wish it lasted longer...way longer.
Everyone cried last night when we left...well most of them anyways.

I went shopping the enxt day - well kinda. Some place called Nagoya or something. Not a nice name for a mall if you ask me. It was huge, but they didn't exactly have the best stores. Most of them sold fake stuff so High school Musical crap.

There was this one place - Batam Island. With the awsome-est bags i'd ever seen!! BOOYAH! but why didn't i buy anything?

yeah...like crazy freaked. the 2 dudes who worked there, like immediately came up to me and just smiled. so i smiled back - DUH! but then they just followed me everywhere. And one of them got wayyyy toooo close than he should be.

there were some tune-deaf chick singing on this stage in the middle of the whole mall. And i swear they could've been blind. People were like covering their ears and walking away - no running away. But they just kept screaming into the bloody mics.

it wasn't all bad though.

There was this really really adorably cute waiter at this coffee bean outside the mall. I swear i was melting.

The only reason i noticed him was cause just as we were gonna leave, this amazingly long line of marching bands and wanna-be scouts came marching then some people in lame yellow rain coats....like some parade. in the middle of the day. that made NO SENSE AT ALL!

yeah.....well that's what i thought.

then of course, all this standing and waiting made my short little legs hurt...so i wanted to sit down. I was brave enough to go up to that cute little waiter and ask him if i could sit there...like in the coffee bean - which by the way was like EMPTY.

and guess what he did?

he said WOOOAAAHHH and pointed to the not so cute waiter. bummer.

so i did ask him. and apparently, i can't sit if i'm not buying nothing.
